Tasting Notes

This cheese is based on the Lyburn Gold. For those who enjoy a heavy smoked cheese this may not suit. It is a delicate cheese, when maturing develops into an unmistakable caramel colour. The smokey flavour is delicately added. The cheese is taken away when still young to a local smoker then naturally smoked over oak chips for a few days.


Additional Information

Made in Wiltshire by Lyburn Farmhouse Cheesemakers using a pasteurised cows milk. Matured for up to 18 months and is suitable for vegetarians and contains egg.
